The re- release of this film includes 20 minutes of new content. Harry Potter fancy dress is actively encouraged. The first movie from one of the biggest franchises of all time, introduces us to Daniel Radcliffe's Harry, Emma Watson's Hermione and Rupert Grint's Ron. Based on J. K. Rowling's 1997 novel of the same name, it quickly became one of the most popular children’s films of all time, awakening a whole new fantasy world for young minds. Harry learns on his eleventh birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. He is summoned from his life as an unwanted child to become a student at Hogwarts, an English boarding school for wizards. There, he meets several friends who become his closest allies and help him discover the truth about his parents' mysterious deaths at the hands of a powerful adversary.
