Go further into your linocut printmaking journey.  This course is designed for those who have already taken Laura’s Linocut Workshop and want to progress to the next stage - making prints from multiple lino blocks.  Laura is author of ‘Botanical Prints in Linocut’ published 2025.

We will develop the skills needed for successfully designing & making prints that comprise multiple layers.

- Layer your designs to achieve different effects
- Learn what to consider at the all important design stage to exploit the medium to maximum advantage
- Textural background, revealing the paper in new ways, non stop colour and layered effects.
- Open up new design potential - no more boring white backgrounds.  With multiple blocks you can flood your image with colour and plan for interesting print layers which can be printed in different ways for each successive print.
- Learn simple registration methods - an easy way to position your blocks so that they align for a perfect print every time.

As always, we will use professional quality materials and plenty of elbow grease to turn your seed of an idea into a print to be proud of.   All you need to bring is your apron - your natural curiosity travels with you no matter what!
