The season’s new releases are supersized on our immersive 60-foot screen, including A Christmas Carol with an A-list voice cast. Be transported to the National Theatre for encore showings of War Horse and Fleabag. Highlights of our family-friendly festive event cinema programme include The Royal Ballet’s Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House and Katherine Jenkins’s Christmas Extravaganza at the Royal Albert Hall.

with fresh ideas

A place to meet socially or for work (Covid-19 tiers permitting).

Our new 100-seat café has a pizza oven and juice bar. Its fresh modern menus feature speciality food and drink from some of our favourite craft producers in Cumbria and beyond.

Whether taking your laptop to lunch or spending time with your household, you’ll find our breakfast, daytime and evening menus flexible and inclusive. Hand-topped pizzas and many other dishes come in children’s and adults’ sizes. New menu coming soon.

home and kids

Rheged’s shops are loved by people who seek out the beautiful, the unusual, the ethical, the local and the crafted. They’re restocked with distinctive clothing, skincare, homewares, stationery, toys and textiles, ready to help you find meaningful gifts for loved ones – or a treat for yourself.

Food, drink, kitchenware

Our deli brings together local and handmade products including beers, gins, honeys, oils & vinegars, pastas, preserves and cookware. Its takeaway counter sells our Cumberland sausage rolls, freshly made sandwiches, toasties and cakes from our bakery alongside locally roasted speciality coffees.

Indoor play

Entry costs £5 per 1.5 hours. Play will be open daily between 9am and 4.30pm. The play area is suitable for those up to eight-years-old, or 4ft 6ins in height. No group bookings over 6 people or discounts offered at this time.

Coffee, selection of drinks & homemade cakes served daily.

Any Parents or Children displaying symptoms of COVID must not visit the centre. Test and Trace for all individuals in the group age 16 or above.

Making our space safe
1. The maximum capacity of our play area is 20 people per 1.5 hour time slot (including 10 Parents and 10 children. Please note UNDER 1’s excluded but MUST NOT be allowed in the play area unless a slot is booked for them)

2. All tickets must be pre booked and purchased in advance online to avoid disappointment. Children’s tickets will be £5. Please Note: Only 1 x Adult is permitted per child.

3. All parents and children MUST sanitise their hands on arrival and departure.

4. Each slot will last for 1.5 hours. Once the time is up parents and children must vacate the area. If late the session cannot be extended. A 10 minute warning will be given before the end of each session.

5. Please only arrive 5 minutes prior to your slot and wait in the designated queuing area until a member of our team greets you on arrival and checks your ticket. Please have this available and ready upon entering the area.

6. We have a very strict cleaning procedure in place to ensure the safety of all of our customers. In addition to regular cleaning throughout the day we will be cleaning the area after each session.

7. Ball pits will temporarily have the balls removed.
