At Rheged Cinema, we understand that traditional cinema environments can be challenging for visitors with autism, sensory sensitivities, or learning impairments.
- We’re proud to offer Relaxed Screenings for neuro-diverse audiences one Sunday morning each month.
- To create a more comfortable experience, we:
- Keep the house lights on throughout the film
- Lower the audio volume
- Remove advertisements and trailers before the film
- Open the cinema doors early so guests can acclimate to the surroundings
- On the 2nd Sunday of every month
