On Thursday 14 May 2026, during Mental Health Awareness Week, we will be hosting a 21 mile ‘Miles for Minds’ sponsored walk from Tebay Services to Rheged, on waymarked footpaths (no steep hills). Our aim is to raise £20,000 to support the core costs of Growing Well (Tebay) which provides a 12 month programme of mental health support to over 100 people each year, with an amazing 68% success rate to full recovery.

About the Walk
There are 199 spaces available for walk participants, which will include three pit stops with refreshments and loos, transport to the start, health and safety support as required, a t-shirt, medal, and of course a good meal at the end.
The walk is for our colleagues, suppliers, and friends of Westmorland, and we are challenging everyone to raise in excess of £100 each.
This is a fun way to get fit, a memorable day out with colleagues and friends, a real sense of achievement and a chance to raise money for a great cause. We will support you every step of the way with fundraising tips to smash your target, training advice and well-organised support on the day.
